Reissuing or Ch

ging a PIN

To change the PIN assigned by a smart lock such as RemoteLOCK or KEYVOX, open the reservation details from Check-in Management or the Booking Calendar, then click the Edit icon next to the PIN and select Update or Edit.

Note:
For other smart locks, such as Linkey and Connected Portal (Baycom), AirHost does not support PIN editing.

If you need to issue a different PIN for these locks, you must log in to the smart lock's management portal and manually create a new PIN.

Manually created PINs are not synchronized with AirHost, so you will also need to notify the guest of the new PIN manually.

Editing a PIN

1. Enter the new PIN code, then set the start time and end time. Click Save.

Note: Carefully verify that the dates and times for the start and end periods are correct before saving.

2. You can verify that the PIN code has been updated on the PIN Code Management screen.

The updated PIN will also be synchronized to the IoT lock's management portal.

3. The updated Door PIN Code in the Room Info section may take a short time to appear. Please wait a few moments, then refresh the page.

Cancel

If you click Cancel in the PIN Code Management screen:

  • The Door PIN Code will be removed from the reservation.

  • This action cannot be undone.

If a PIN is canceled by mistake, you must manually create a new PIN from the IoT lock's management portal.

If you use AirHost's auto messages with variable tags to send door lock information to guests, the PIN will not be included because the original PIN data has been deleted. You will also need to notify the guest of the new PIN manually.
