Please be aware that the number of guests displayed on the cleaning task is not for the reservation that has checked out, but for the upcoming reservation. This specification is designed to help prepare amenities and other items according to the number of guests expected for the next stay.
If the number of guests displayed is not for the next reservation but shows the maximum occupancy, it is due to the setting "Set to maximum capacity if next check-in is more than 4 days away." This setting is intended to prevent issues such as not having enough amenities prepared if a last-minute booking is made before the next scheduled reservation, leading to more guests than planned. If you always want to display the number of guests for the next reservation, you can turn this setting off.
Guest Count in Cleaning Tasks When Changing “Set Maximum Capacity if Next Check-in Is 4+ Days Away” Setting
When the setting “Set maximum room capacity if the next check-in is 4 or more days later” is changed (enabled or disabled), the “Guest Count” shown under “Next Reservation Information” in existing cleaning tasks will not be updated automatically.
However, the system will automatically update existing cleaning tasks when any of the following occurs:
A new reservation is created
A reservation is cancelled
Guest count (adults, children, infants) is updated
The assigned room unit is changed
A new cleaning task is created
A cleaning task is cancelled
