[Overview]

For standalone rental properties where guests need to enter the facility before check-in,
you can notify them of the entrance or room lock code in advance using the automated message feature.

This section explains how to set up automated messages to notify guests of the lock code, depending on the type of lock.

※ From here onward, the lock code will be referred to as “lock code” (ロックコード).
(Lock code = PIN code, door PIN code, lock number)

[Details]

Please refer to the help page below for setting up auto messages:

For IoT Locks

On the message editing screen for the automated message in which you want to notify the lock code, insert [ Check-in Information ] → [ Lock Code ].

The tag [lock_code] will be inserted, allowing the lock code to be automatically shared with the guest.

For Non-IoT Locks:

Go to [Admin Console] → [Room Unit] → [Edit Room] to set the lock information for each room.

If you wish to provide guests with instructions on how to unlock, such as a PDF, enter the URL in [Key Instruction URL] and enter the lock code in [Key Code].

[ Key Instruction URL ] is used to enter a URL if you wish to provide guests with information such as how to unlock the door, via a PDF or similar format.

[ Key Code ] is where you enter the lock code.

To notify guests of the lock code entered in the [ Key Code ] field of the room settings:

Insert [ Lock Code ] from [ Check-in Information ] in the auto-message editing screen.

The tag [lock_code] will be inserted, and the lock code for the reserved room will be sent to the guest.

To notify guests of the URL entered in the [ Key Command URL ] field in the room settings:

Insert [ Key ] from [ Room Info ] in the auto-message editing screen.

The tag [key] will be inserted, and the key command URL for the reserved room will be sent to the guest.
