[Overview]

For properties like entire building rentals where guests need to access the facility before checking in, you can use the automatic messaging feature to notify guests of the entrance and room lock codes in advance. This section explains how to set up automatic messages to notify guests of the lock codes for different types of locks. Hereafter, the term "lock code" will be used to refer to the numbers of the locks.

[Details]

Please refer to the help page below for setting up automatic messages:

If Using IoT Locks:

In the edit screen of the automatic message where you want to notify the lock code, insert [Check-in Information] → [Lock Code]. The tag [lock_code] will be inserted, allowing you to notify the guest of the lock code.

For Non-IoT Locks:

Go to [Admin Console] → [Room Unit] → [Edit Room] to set the lock information for each room.

If you wish to provide guests with instructions on how to unlock, such as a PDF, enter the URL in [Key Instruction URL]. Enter the lock code in [Key Code].

To notify the lock code entered under [Key Code] in the room settings, insert [Check-in Information] → [Lock Code] in the edit screen of the automatic message. The tag [lock_code] will be inserted, allowing you to notify the guest of the lock code for the reserved room.

To notify the URL entered under [Key Instruction URL] in the room settings, insert [Room Info] → [Key] in the edit screen of the automatic message. The tag [key] will be inserted, allowing you to notify the guest of the key instruction URL for the reserved room.
