Please contact us via AirHost chat support. Switch from the AI bot to a staff member and let us know that you would like to “confirm the number of Google Hotel licenses.”
Note:
Listing on Google Hotels / Vacation Rentals is requested by automatically syncing property information via the Google API.
After submission, how the property is displayed on Google Maps is controlled entirely by Google. We are unable to specify or modify how the listing appears.
Additionally, we cannot request or configure linkage to an existing Google Business Profile on your behalf. Please understand that these settings must be managed directly through Google.
Important Notes Regarding Property Name Display After Listing
Due to Google's specifications, the property name displayed will use the language corresponding to the property's location (e.g., Japanese for properties located in Japan).
Property names in other languages will be automatically translated, and the translated name will also be applied within the Booking Engine.
Google requires property names in all languages to have the same meaning. Therefore, if you need to change the property name, please make sure that all language versions are consistent.
Automatically translated property names cannot be edited individually.
For example, for properties located in Japan, property names in languages other than Japanese will not be editable.
Therefore, before submitting your request for Google Hotels / Vacation Rentals, please make sure that the Japanese property name is set to your preferred name. After submission, property names in other languages will be automatically translated based on Google's specifications and cannot be edited individually.
Google Hotel Rate Display
The rates displayed on Google Hotel are based on the pricing information sent from the AirHost Booking Engine. If you want to control the rates displayed to users, make sure to configure the pricing in AirHost.
• Displayed Rates
Google Hotel automatically displays the lowest available rate for the applicable date, based on the rate settings.
Example:
If a long-stay plan is cheaper than the Standard Plan, the long-stay plan rate will be displayed on Google Hotel.
• How to Adjust the Displayed Rate
If you want to change the rate displayed on Google Hotel, set the price of the target rate plan lower than the other rate plans in AirHost.
After the settings are saved, AirHost will automatically synchronize the updated rate information.
Pre-Request Checks [Checking Existing Listings]
Before making a request, check if your property is already listed. Here’s how to verify:
For Hotels:
If your property is selected on Google Maps and 'Official Site' is displayed under "All options," then it is already listed, and no request is necessary.
For Vacation Rentals:
Display the property's address on Google Maps, select "Hotels" → "Vacation Rentals," and if the property shows up with 'AirHost Booking Engine,' it is already listed, and no request is necessary.
**A vacation rental property can only appear on the Google Travel page, in the Vacation Rentals category.
However, the booking link for this property cannot be shown on Google Maps. This is because to display a booking link or rate on Google Maps, the property must have a "Check availability" button, which is only available for properties in the Hotel category and not for vacation rentals.
Please note that it's up to Google to decide whether a listing appears on Google Hotel or Vacation Rental.
You cannot choose or change to be on Google Hotel or Vacation Rental.
For more information about the category, you can refer to this article.
[Consistency of Property Name Meaning Across Languages]
When setting the property name in multiple languages (e.g., Japanese, English), please ensure that the meaning remains consistent across all languages.
If the meanings differ significantly, it may violate Google policies and could result in suspension of the listing.
Also, make sure that the property name is entered in all supported languages before submitting the listing request.
[Information Required for Listing]
The following details are mandatory for listing and must be checked and entered prior to your request to avoid errors:
To be listed on Google Hotels / Vacation Rentals, your property must be publicly available and for sale on the AirHost Booking Engine. Please confirm this before making your request.

About Google Hotel Ads

This can be connected through the AirHost Booking Engine. Pricing and inventory information are automatically synced.

Paid Ads (Google Hotel Ads):
Currently, direct integration from AirHost is not supported.
Paid advertising is typically used through Google-certified partners, and in Japan, only a limited number of partners are available.
If you wish to use this service, please contact Google directly or reach out to an authorized partner.
【Known Issue】Cart Behavior When Booking via Google Hotels
As of September 4, 2026
When a guest is redirected from Google Hotels / Vacation Rentals to the Booking Engine, multiple rate plans using the same inventory may be added to the cart even when only one room is available.
In this case, an inventory shortage error may be displayed during the booking process.
We are currently working on a fix. The fix is currently scheduled for release on September 14, 2026; however, the release date may change depending on the status of code review and testing.
