Once a reservation is checked out or canceled, the folio associated with that reservation is closed, and you will no longer be able to add transactions (charges) or payments.
To allow this action, go to:
[Admin Console] → [Property List] → [Property Details] → [Booking Settings]
Then enable the setting: “Allow Adding Transactions After Check-Out or Cancellation”
For properties where the setting “Allow adding transactions after check-out or cancellation” is enabled, the “Reopen Folio” option will be available for checked-out or canceled reservations.
By selecting this option, you will be able to add transactions (charges) and payments.
