[ overview ]
This section explains the feature that displays guidance on the guest’s dedicated page (pre-check-in URL, check-in page) after the guest has completed pre-check-in, check-in, or check-out.
The explanation here is based on “Pre-check-in,” but the same procedure applies to check-in and check-out.
[ detail ]
How to set it up
1. In the Admin Console, go to Property List → select the relevant property → Check-in Settings → click Pre-check-in Flow (or Check-in Flow or Check-out Flow).
2. Click the Edit ✎ button in the Show Instruction menu.
3. Turn on Enable, then click Save.
4. Click Configure PreCheck-In Instruction for this property.
5. Click the Edit ✎ button.
6. Turn on Enable, select the setting unit from "Entire property," "Each room type," or "Each room," and save.
7. The guidance display editing screen will appear at the bottom.
Unit of setting
Entire Property | Set for the entire property. |
Each Room Type | Set this for each room type. |
Each Room | Set it for each room. |
Supplement
Once the text or other content has been saved, it will remain saved even if the configuration unit is changed. However, the saved content will not be carried over to the newly selected unit. By switching the configuration unit back to the previous one, you can view the saved content again.
What is “Information Type”?
(Supplement)
If you change the “Information Type” and save, any previously entered text or files will be deleted.
Example: You had set it to [Text and Attachment (PDF)], but then changed it to [URL] and saved.
→ The content set under [Text and Attachment (PDF)] will be deleted and cannot be restored.
For the URL type, it will be displayed as “View in browser.”
・PDFs will be displayed as "Download PDF."
How to Set Up (continued)
8. Depending on the information type, edit the content or upload materials and save.
Standard templates can be set in four languages: Japanese, English, Chinese, and Korean.
If [PDF] is required, you need to upload the materials for each language separately.
9. Once the settings are complete, click the ✖ to the left of "Display Settings After Pre-Check-In (Check-In or Check-Out) Completion" to close the editing page.
Actual screen
When all pre-check-in (check-in/check-out) procedures are completed, it will be displayed on the final page.
(Note)
If the screen is closed before transitioning to the guidance display page, the guest will not see the information.
To review the guidance display again on the dedicated page, guests need to click the pre-check-in (check-in/check-out) button again and proceed to the View Room Info page.
