[Yield Management] Dynamic Minimum Stay Rule

[ Overview ]

To use this feature, a subscription to AirHost ONE HMS (Premium Plan) is required.

The “Dynamic Minimum Stay Rule” is a feature that automatically updates the minimum number of nights required for a booking based on the number of days remaining until the check-in date.

💡As shown in the image above, if your rate plan has a minimum stay of two days or more, you
can allow short-term stays of one night for last-minute reservations, allowing you to avoid missing out on sales opportunities.

OTAs (Online Travel Agencies) where the minimum stay requirement is synced:

The settings for the Dynamic Minimum Stay Rule will apply only to OTAs that support minimum stay synchronization.

Here is the list of OTAs where minimum stay settings are synced via AirHost:

  • AirHost Booking Engine

  • Airbnb (※Sync behavior may vary depending on Airbnb settings)

  • Agoda

  • Booking.com

  • Expedia

  • Vrbo

  • Trip.com

  • Ticket.com

  • Traveloka

  • Hostelworld

  • MakeMyTrip

  • Rurubu (るるぶ)

  • Google Hotels / Vacation Rentals

*For Airbnb, the following settings will take priority.

How to Set the Automatic Minimum Stay Rule


2. Click the edit icon (✎), switch it [ON], and then click [Save].


3. Click on the Dynamic Minimum Stay


4. Click on [+Add New Rule] and proceed to create the rules.

  • Number of days (7 days / 14 days / 30 days): Select whether to apply the rule if it is within X days before the check-in date.

  • Room type: Select the room type.

  • Rate plan (multiple selections allowed): Among the rate plans registered under the selected room type, choose which rate plans the rule will apply to.

  • Minimum length of stay (1 to 30 days): Specify the minimum length of stay.

After entering the settings, click [Save].

If you want to change the minimum length of stay for a limited period, such as during the year-end and New Year holidays, please use the [Limited Period Rules] for the rate plan.
