The synchronization of Minimum and Maximum Length of Stay varies depending on the OTA. The details are explained below.
Synchronizing Minimum/Maximum Length of Stay with Airbnb
For Airbnb, these settings are configured from the Content Management section of each Airbnb channel.
Note: The Minimum and Maximum Length of Stay settings in the Rate Plan are not applied to Airbnb.
On the Content Management page, configure the default Min Nights under Availability Rules.
If you want to set a seasonal minimum length of stay, add a Seasonal Min Nights (Availability) rule.
※ For Airbnb, Minimum Length of Stay settings are applied according to the following order of precedence:
Priority | Setting |
1 | |
2 | Rate Plans – Seasonal Rules |
3 | Content Management – Seasonal Minimum Length of Stay |
4 | Content Management – Minimum Length of Stay |
5 | Rate Plans – Minimum Length of Stay |
Setting a Minimum Length of Stay
The Minimum Length of Stay setting under:
Rate Plans → Occupancy & Booking Window → Minimum Length of Stay
applies only to the following channels:
AirHost Booking Engine
Agoda
Asiayo
Booking.com
Trip.com
Expedia
Google Hotels & Vacation Rentals
Vrbo
Hostelworld
MakeMyTrip
Rurubu
Ticket.com
Traveloka
This setting does not apply to other OTAs.
For Airbnb, the Minimum Length of Stay must be configured separately under each property's Content Management menu.
You can configure the Minimum Length of Stay by navigating to:
Admin Console → Properties → Property Details → Channel Manager → Rate Plans → Minimum Length of Stay
Please refer to the screenshot below.
If the Minimum Length of Stay Is Not Reflected
Please check whether one of the following settings is taking precedence.
Yield Management – Automatic Minimum Length of Stay Rules
If Automatic Minimum Length of Stay Rules are enabled, reservations made within the configured booking window may be allowed to stay for fewer nights than the minimum specified in the rate plan.
Example:
Even if the rate plan requires a 2-night minimum stay, guests may be allowed to book 1 night when the reservation is made within the specified number of days before check-in.
Setting a Maximum Length of Stay
The Maximum Length of Stay setting under:
Rate Plans → Occupancy & Booking Window → Maximum Length of Stay
applies only to the following channels:
AirHost Booking Engine
Agoda
Booking.com
Trip.com
Expedia
Google Hotels & Vacation Rentals
Vrbo
Hostelworld
MakeMyTrip
Rurubu
Ticket.com
Traveloka
This setting does not apply to other OTAs.
For Airbnb, the Maximum Length of Stay must be configured separately under each property's Content Management menu.
Setting a Seasonal Min Nights
Seasonal Minimum Length of Stay rules apply only when the guest's check-in date falls within the specified period.
This setting is supported by the following channels:
Airbnb
Booking.com
Agoda
Trip.com
Expedia
Google Hotels & Vacation Rentals
Vrbo
MakeMyTrip
Hostelworld
Rurubu
Ticket.com
Traveloka
AirHost Booking Engine
Note: Seasonal Maximum Length of Stay rules are also supported by the OTAs listed above.
If you need to temporarily change the minimum length of stay for a specific period (such as the New Year holidays), create a Seasonal Rule for the applicable date range.
Turn on Specify the days to apply to apply the rule only to specific weekdays within the selected date range.
The starting year is also taken into account when using Recurring.
For example, if you create a recurring rule in 2026 for the period December 10, 2027 – January 10, 2028, the rule will not be applied during December 10, 2026 – January 10, 2027.
Instead, the recurring schedule begins with the specified start period:
December 10, 2027 – January 10, 2028
December 10, 2028 – January 10, 2029
and so on, repeating annually.
How Seasonal Rules Work with the Booking Window
Seasonal Rules are synchronized only for dates that fall within the configured Booking Window. If the dates covered by a Seasonal Rule are outside the Booking Window, they will not be synchronized to the OTA until those dates enter the booking window.
This behavior is independent of room blocks. Even if the dates are blocked, the Seasonal Rule will still be synchronized as long as the dates fall within the Booking Window.
You may simply wait until the target dates enter the Booking Window. Once they do, AirHost will automatically synchronize the Seasonal Rule to the connected OTAs.
Synchronizing Seasonal Rules Before They Enter the Booking Window
If you want Seasonal Rules (for example, for the New Year holiday period) to be reflected on OTAs before the target dates enter the Booking Window, you can temporarily extend the Booking Window.
Once the target dates fall within the extended Booking Window, the configured Seasonal Rules will be synchronized to the connected OTAs.
After confirming that the changes have been reflected on the OTAs, you can safely restore the Booking Window to its original setting if you do not wish to accept reservations that far in advance.
Can I Set Different Minimum Lengths of Stay by Day of the Week?
At this time, AirHost does not support setting different Minimum Length of Stay values based on the day of the week.
Even if weekday-specific minimum stay settings are configured directly on an OTA, they will be overwritten by the Minimum Length of Stay configured in the AirHost PMS rate plan during synchronization.
We appreciate your understanding, and this functionality is being considered for a future system enhancement.
Synchronization with Other OTAs
For OTAs that do not support synchronization of Minimum/Maximum Length of Stay through AirHost, these settings cannot be synchronized from AirHost.
Please configure the settings directly on the OTA platform.
