[Booking.com Related] — Booking.com Content Management / Photo Management / Room Details

Overview

“Content Management” and “Room Details Settings” are menu functions that allow you to view, modify, and configure your property and room type settings from Booking.com directly within AirHost.

Below, we explain the features and important points of each function.


Detail

Content Management

In “Content Management”, you can view and modify your property information settings from Booking.com directly within AirHost.

How to Access:

  1. Go to [Admin Console] > [Channels] > Click on the Booking.com channel name.

2. Click […] next to the property name, then select “Content Management”


Manageable Items

Basic Information

Property Type

Displays the property type information synced from Booking.com.
Note: This cannot be edited.


House Facility

You can set information about restaurants within the property.

If there are multiple restaurants, you can create more by clicking [+ Add Facilities].

Restaurant Name

Enter the restaurant name in text

Facility Type

Only "Restaurant" can be selected

Cuisine Type

Multiple selections allowed.

Accept Reservations

Choose between "Yes" and "No"

Guest Only

Choose between "Yes" and "No"

Ambiance Type

Multiple selections allowed.

Outdoor Seating

Choose between "Yes" and "No"

Open for Meal Periods

Multiple selections allowed.

Meal Types

Multiple selections allowed.

Buffet

Choose between "Yes" and "No"

A La Carte

Choose between "Yes" and "No"

Operation Hours

Opening and closing times can be set for each day of the week


Tax and Fee

You can set the cleaning fee.

Charge Type

Single Selection

  • "Cleaning Fee"

Excluded from room rate

Single selection:

  • Excluded (not included)

  • Included (included in the rate)

Guest Origin

Single selection:

  • Any (any origin)

  • Domestic (within the country)

  • International (outside the country)

Mode

Single selection:

  • Per Night (charged per night)

  • Per Stay (charged per stay)

  • Percentage (charged as a percentage)

If "Percentage" is selected, a base rate must be specified:

  • Net Room Price (only the base room rate)

  • Net Room Price + Locality Charges (room rate + local taxes/fees)

Amount

  • If Per Night or Per Stay is selected → enter the amount.

  • If Percentage is selected → enter the percentage (0–100).


Invoice Setting

You can configure the settings for invoices issued through Booking.com.

Legal Name

Text input: Enter the legal name to appear on the invoice, such as a corporate name, company name, or property name.

  • This field is used by Booking.com for EU countries.

  • Due to API restrictions, only letters are allowed, with a maximum of 2 characters.

  • For regions outside Europe, Booking.com recommends setting this field to “NA.”

  • Postal Mail


Initial Operation and Update Method When Connecting to AirHost

When you connect your Booking.com listing to AirHost:

  • Initial Sync: Booking.com settings are imported into AirHost and synchronized to the Content Management section.

  • Changes via AirHost: Any changes made from Content Management in AirHost are automatically reflected on Booking.com.

⚠️ Features in Development / Important Note:

  • If you make changes directly on Booking.com after the connection, those changes will not automatically sync to AirHost.

  • To sync changes made on Booking.com to AirHost, click “Sync Property Information from Booking.com.”


Photo Management

In Photo Management, you can set images for your Booking.com property, such as the cover photo.

Access Method:

  1. Go to [Admin Console] > [Channels] > Click on the Booking.com channel name.

2. Click "Photo Management" from the "..." displayed to the right of the facility name.


Items that can be managed

You can view Booking.com property images and register or update images from AirHost.

⚠️ If new photos are added on the Booking.com side, they will not automatically sync to AirHost.

During the initial connection to the Booking.com channel, photos are imported from Booking.com.

Cover image

This will be set as your "cover photo" on Booking.com

All images

Images other than the cover photo


How to reflect your settings on Booking.com

On the channel details page, click [Refresh (Delete Old Data)].
This will sync the property’s photo data from the AirHost system to Booking.com.


Room details

Access methods

1. Click Admin Console > Channels > Booking.com channel name.

2. Click the [+] to the left of the ptroperty name, then
  click [Room Details] from the [...] to the right of the room type.

Basic Info

Room Type Name

Displays the room type information synced from Booking.com.
Note: This cannot be edited.

1-150

Smoking Policy

Single Selection

  • Smoking

  • Nonsmoking

  • Smoking and nonsmoking

Room size

Unit (single selection):

  • Square meters (㎡)

  • Square feet (sq ft)

Size value: 1–1500

Floor Information

Multiple selections allowed

Occupancy (number of guests)

Max Guests

Single selection (1 to 50)

Maximum number of guests including children and infants

Max Adults

Single selection (1 to 50)

Max Children

Single selection (0 to 49)

Max Infants

Single selection (0 to 49)

Max infants On Top

Single choice (0 to 49 )


Amenities

  • The settings on Booking.com will be reflected.

  • When updating, please operate ✅ and save.
