[Payment Management] Unable to Make a Reservation via the Booking Engine (Stripe Error)

When attempting to make a reservation through the Booking Engine, you may see the message “Your account cannot currently make live charges” (as shown in the red box below), and the reservation cannot be completed.

This error is caused by your Stripe account settings or verification status.
To enable reservations, you will need to log in to Stripe and review or complete the required actions on the Stripe side.

Main causes

  • Required documents (such as identification documents or security/compliance forms) have not been submitted

  • Account update procedures have not been completed

How to Resolve

  • Check and submit any required documents

  • Complete any pending account update procedures
