Screen Where Guests Actually Enter Information
When the guest opens the pre-check-in URL and clicks Pre-check-in or Check-in, a field for [Name For Receipt] will appear at the top of the guest information input screen.
How to use it
In general, for bookings with prepayment via OTAs, receipts are issued to guests by the OTA.
However, for on-site payments at the property, or when using an optional payment solution integration where payments are made during pre-check-in or check-in, the property is required to issue the receipt upon request.
When the receipt recipient name differs from the guest’s name, it is usually necessary to confirm the name via messaging, which requires back-and-forth communication with the guest.
By using the “Name For Receipt” feature, you can complete this confirmation during pre-check-in or check-in, eliminating the need for additional communication between staff and guests. This helps improve operational efficiency.
