When you request an additional payment from a guest through Airbnb’s Resolution Center and the guest completes the payment, the amount may be included in the reservation payout amount provided by Airbnb.
In this case, when the reservation information is resynchronized in AirHost, the amount including the additional charge may be imported as the accommodation charge and distributed across each night of the stay.
AirHost cannot distinguish the additional charge requested through the Resolution Center from the payout amount provided by Airbnb.
Example
If you request an additional ¥5,000 from a guest through the Resolution Center and the guest completes the payment:
The additional ¥5,000 is included in the reservation payout amount provided by Airbnb.
When the reservation information is resynchronized in AirHost, the accommodation charge is updated based on the amount including the additional charge.
The updated accommodation charge is distributed across each night of the reservation.
As a result, the additional charge may not appear as a separate item, and the accommodation charge for each night may appear to have increased.
When reservation information is updated
AirHost retrieves and updates Airbnb reservation information at the following times:
Two days before the check-in date
On the check-out date
When the channel is refreshed in AirHost
Even if the additional payment has been completed, it may not be reflected in AirHost until the reservation information is resynchronized.
If the accommodation charge displayed in AirHost differs from the expected amount, please check the reservation details and the Resolution Center in Airbnb for any additional charges or payments.
