[Airbnb Related] When Airbnb Request Booking Are Not Reflected in AirHost

J
Written by Joelly See Toh

If “Request to Book” is enabled on Airbnb, reservations are not created immediately in AirHost when a guest submits a booking request.

Bookings are imported into AirHost only after the host approves the request and the guest completes payment, resulting in the booking becoming “Confirmed.”

In addition, bookings that remain unconfirmed and are eventually canceled because the request was not approved on Airbnb, or bookings where the request was declined, are treated as “Canceled Bookings” in AirHost.

However, these bookings are not imported through normal automatic synchronization. They will only appear in AirHost when a full synchronization is performed through one of the following actions:

  • Executing “Channel Update”

  • Reconnecting (reinitializing) the Airbnb integration

When either of the above actions triggers a full synchronization, the relevant canceled bookings will then be imported into AirHost.
