[Overview]

By creating a menu for "In-Room Rental Items," guests can browse and order these items directly from their smartphones or tablets.

[Details]

Creating Products (Goods / Package Goods)

Items offered through room service can broadly be divided into "amenities and rental items" and "drinks and meals." Since "amenities and rental items" are handled by front desk staff and "drinks and meals" by the kitchen team, they need to be offered as separate service menus.

For creating menus for "drinks and meals," refer to the following help section. However, use "Room Service" instead of "Restaurant Menu" as the service type. If there are menus common with the restaurant, the same products can be shared.

Here, we will register "amenities and rental items" as "Goods" POS products. For registration procedures, refer to the content under "Goods" in the following help section.

When registering products, setting tags such as "Amenities" or "Rental Items" can be useful for checking orders from the order menu.

If the amenities are free, set the price to 0 yen.

Creating Services (Restaurant Menu)

Create a menu to list the registered food and drinks. For registration procedures, refer to the content under "Restaurant Menu" in the following help section.

Register the menu by categories.

To allow non-hotel guests to use the restaurant, enable 'Guest without a reservation' in 'Who can book'.

The created menus can also be placed on restaurant tables as QR codes. For setting up delivery destinations, refer to:

To link the created menu to a delivery destination, open the settings tab at the bottom of the page.

For methods on accepting orders from the menu, refer to:
