[Rate Plan] Setting Pricing Tiers (Seasonality)

J
Written by Joelly See Toh

[Overview]

The Pricing Tiers feature allows you to register different rates as “tiers” to respond to seasonal demand fluctuations.

It is especially suitable for properties with clearly defined seasons throughout the year (e.g., hot spring resorts, vacation destinations, tourist areas), or those with a large number of properties, room types, or pricing plans.

By setting up pricing tiers in advance, you can flexibly and strategically adjust rates simply by assigning tiers according to days of the week, events, or peak and off-peak seasons.

To use this feature, a subscription to AirHost ONE HMS (Pro Plan or Premium Plan) is required.

Important Notes on Using the Pricing Tiers Feature

Before using the Pricing Tiers feature, please be sure to review the following points:

  • For rate plans with Pricing Tiers enabled, you can only modify the Pricing Tier; the rates themselves cannot be edited directly.
If you want to set a special price for specific dates, you will need to configure the corresponding Pricing Tier.

  • Rate plans with Pricing Tiers enabled cannot use dynamic pricing features such as PriceLabs integration or AirHost automatic discounts.

  • Rate plans with Pricing Tiers enabled cannot have Rate Templates applied to them.

  • Pricing Tiers can only be enabled when creating a new rate plan.
The default “Standard Rate” plan automatically created for each room type, as well as existing rate plans, cannot be converted to a Pricing Tier-based format.

  • Pricing Tiers do not support the [Day Before Holiday Settings] feature.
