Overview:

This explains how to set up message channels when linked with other site controllers (like Neppan!/Trouble-Free/Rakutsu) or other PMS (such as Opera/Assist/TAP/Incharge7). This enables the direct sending of messages (both automatic and manual), which are normally not possible to send via other SC/PMS, to guests who have booked through Rakuten.

Procedure:

  1. [Management Console][Channels] → Select the relevant other site controller (PMS) channel.

2. [Message Channel] → Click [Add New Message Channel].

Adding Rakuten Travel:

3. From the channels, select [Rakuten Travel], then click [Next].

4. Enter "an arbitrary management name (internal name)" in [Name], "Rakuten Travel's login ID" in [Username (Channel)], and "Rakuten Travel's login password" in [Password (Channel)], then click [Next].

5. Confirm that the status in the row where [Type] is "Rakuten Travel" is set to [Active].
