[POS Settings] Creating a Rental Service

Overview

Here, using [Rental] as an example, we will explain the process of creating a service after creating a product.


Detail

Creating a [Rental Service]

1) Go to Admin ConsoleProperty List ≫ select the relevant facility
 ≫ POS SettingsServices ≫ click Add New Service.

2) Since you are creating a service for rental products here, click “Rental Service” and proceed to the next step.

3) Enter the service name for internal name and the service name displayed on the guest screen.

  • Since English is set as the default, click “+” to add other languages, including Japanese.

  • Upload an image for the service.

4) Enter the category (service menu).

  • In this example, “Rental” is entered, but please enter any name you would like to display for your users and "enter".

5) The sub-category input screen will be displayed.

  • If you would like to further divide the category, please enter a sub-category.

  • Sub-categories are optional, so you can leave this field blank and click “Add Products”.

6) Since you are creating a “Rental Service”,
the products created under “Rental” will be automatically listed.

  • Check the products you want to display and add them.

  • Once the addition is complete, click Next to proceed.

7) In Additional Information, enter the company details and phone number.

  • This information will be displayed at the time of ordering, so please enter the contact details of the person or team responsible for the relevant product or service..

8) In Common Setting, configure the service rules.

Quick Booking

  • Yes: The reservation is confirmed immediately.

  • No: A reservation request is sent, and the reservation is confirmed after approval.

Who can book

Hotel staff

Facility account users can make reservations

Guests with reservations

Guests who already have a room reservation can make reservations.

Guest without a reservation

  • No verification: Guests without a room reservation can make a reservation without registering any information.

  • Email verification: Guests without a room reservation can make a reservation by registering their email address.

Checkout Setting

Pay at the cashier

Payment is made at the on-site cashier.

Charge to room

Charges are added to the room and settled at checkout.

Credit card

Payment at the time of ordering is required, and the reservation is completed after payment is successful.

When “Quick Reservation” is set to “No”:

  • At the request stage, the status will be Pending.

  • Once the request is approved, payment is automatically processed.

  • If the request is rejected, it will automatically be marked as Canceled.

※ Purchase of a payment solution integration is required.

Notification Settings

Send order creation success notification

  • Send order creation notification

  • Send notifications to guests (ON/OFF setting)

9) Once the service has been successfully added, you will be taken to the Service List page.

10) On the Service List, you can enable the menu you just added to make the service available for operation.

  • You can also toggle Enable/Disable from the service’s edit screen.
