If a guest sends a video message through Airbnb, the video will also be available in AirHost.
The video is displayed as an MP4 URL. Simply click the URL to view the video.
Video Storage
The video URL generated by Airbnb expires after 24 hours. To ensure continued access, AirHost automatically downloads and stores the video.
Video Retention Period
Video files are retained for the following periods:
Checked-out reservations: 3 months from the check-out date
Cancelled reservations: 30 days from the cancellation date
After the retention period expires, the video is automatically deleted.
After the Retention Period
Once the video has been deleted, it can no longer be played. Instead, "No longer available" will be displayed.
