This section describes the procedure for adding a channel from the [Admin Console] → [Channel] → [Add channel] button.

Synchronization Restrictions
Currently, AirHost only supports "room selling" on HostelWorld, not "bed selling". We will consider improving this in the future.
In the case of selling beds, for example, if two people are specified in one reservation, two beds (two stocks) must be reserved, but since only "room sales" are currently supported, only one stock is reserved per reservation, which results in overbooking. If you would like to synchronize stock when selling beds, please contact support to see how it has been improved.
Currently, AirHost only supports “room-based” sales on HostelWorld and does not support “bed-based” sales. We are considering improvements in this area for the future.
In the case of bed-based sales, for example, if a reservation specifies 2 guests, 2 beds (2 inventory units) need to be secured. However, since only room-based sales are currently supported, only 1 inventory unit is secured per reservation, which can lead to overbookings.
・Channel creation procedure
AirHost must be configured as a Channel Manager on HostelWorld in advance. Please check with Hostel World for setup instructions.
Create a channel from the Admin Console → Channels → Add Channel button and select HostelWorld.
Set the name of the channel.
After creating the channel, add the property by entering the property ID on the HostelWorld side from "Add new OTA property".
