Overview

This section explains how to create products.

Note: A purchase of AirHostONE Check-in Pro Plan or higher is required.


Details

How to Create a Product

  1. Go to Admin ConsoleProperty List → select the relevant property → POS SettingsPhysical Products → click Add New Physical Products.

For Premium Plan features, when creating Rental Items or Reservation Products, the setup differs.

Please add products from “Add New Product” in each menu.

2. Enter the product details.

*Internal Name (for management)

  • The name displayed in the PMS (Property Management System)

  • Note: This is not shown to the guest.roduct name displayed on PMS

Product Name

  • The name displayed on the guest ordering screen

  • Tip: Default language is English. To add other languages (e.g., Japanese), click the “+” next to English.

Description

Description of the product

Unit Name

The unit of the product (e.g., “bottle” for counting bottles, “piece” for items)

Additional Information

Use this field to include any extra details beyond the description

Supplemental PDF Attachments

PDF files can be uploaded here

Tags

  • Assign labels to categorize the product; multiple selections are allowed

  • Tip: Labels can be customized using the “Manage Tags” button

3. Set the Price

4. If necessary, configure Stockb and Variant Options, then click Save.

Variant Options
Turn this option on to manage different variations of a product, such as size or color. First, select a general category, then choose the detailed specifications or formats.

(Example: After selecting “Travel Adaptor,” create options such as "adaptor", “USB-C type” or “Lightning cable.”)

Value
Turn this option on to manage product stock levels.
(Example: managing the quantity of items currently in stock.)

If Variant Options and Inventory Management are not required, you can simply click Next Step as is.

The guest view will be displayed as shown below;

*If you do not set the stock, it will be displayed quantity as 99+


How to change product inventory

*You can change the original stock quantity.

  1. Go to POS Setting → Products, click [...] on the product you want, and select View Details.

  2. Open the Stock Management menu and click Bulk Edit.

3. A detailed screen will appear on the right side. Update the date, select the days of the week, and enter the stock, then click "Save."


How to delete a product

1. Click the [...] button for the relevant product and select View Detail.

2. At the bottom of the Basic Info menu, there is a Delete button—click it.

3. A warning will pop up asking "Do you agree to delete this physical product?" Click Confirm.

Note: If there is order history for the product, it cannot be deleted.
