J
Written by Joelly See Toh

Overview

This section explains how to start rate and inventory synchronization and verify the synchronization on the OTA side from:

[Admin Console] > [Property List] > Select Property > [Channel Manager] > [Channel Settings]

The procedure is basically the same for all OTAs.

Detail

Synchronization Settings / Start Synchronization

  1. Go to: Admin Console > Property List > Select the relevant property > Channel Manager > Channel Settings. Then, for the relevant room type, click either:

  • [+] > [Blue Room Type Name] for the relevant OTA, or

  • […] > [Settings].

2. Set the price synchronization multiplier, price plan mapping, etc., then turn the inventory/price synchronization toggle to [On] and click [Save] to start the synchronization immediately. If the setup is already complete, clicking [Sync] will start the sync process.

Sync Availability

When turned ON, inventory information will be synced from AirHost to the OTA.
(For Airbnb, inventory and rate sync are not separated.)

Sync Price

When turned ON, rate information will be synced from AirHost to the OTA.
(For Airbnb, inventory and rate sync are not separated.)

Percentage

If service fees differ by OTA, or if you want to fine-tune synced rates for each OTA while keeping the same general pricing seasonality, you can use the Rate Sync Multiplier feature.

For example:

  • Airbnb: 115%

  • Booking.com: 100%

When rates are synced to each OTA, the rates set in the rate calendar are treated as 100%, and the OTA-specific multiplier is applied accordingly.

Please refer to the following help page:

Rate Plan Mapping

Maps AirHost rate plans to the OTA’s rate plans (accommodation plans).

Please refer to the following help page:

※ Available settings may vary depending on the OTA.

Please refer to the following video. (This example uses Airbnb for explanation.)

Checking Rate & Inventory Synchronization on the OTA Side

⚠️ After starting synchronization, always verify on the OTA or site controller side that rates and inventory are syncing correctly.

Please refer to the following video for the verification procedure:
